Gold panning and family fun! Venture over 1,000 feet into a Mountain! Explore the original workings of the Country Boy Mine as you feel, hear, & smell what it was like to be a Colorado Miner over 100 years ago. Find & keep your riches as you gold pan in Eureka Creek. Examine old photos & other fun exhibits to revisit the past & marvel at days gone by! Pet the roaming Donkeys; capture you memory in an Old Time Photo to complete your mining visit! The mine is open Winter and Summer, so if its "snowin and blowin", it's a great day to go underground. The mine is 42 degrees year-round, a jacket is recommended.
